After lengthy discussions with the Board of the World Indoor Cricket Federation, ICE has decided to relinquish it's affiliation as England's representative to the WICF. This means that Mark Cini of New Zealand will become the Secretary-General of the WICF with immediate effect.

ICE will now take an independant position within the indoor multi-sports market, and will focus on the growth of indoor sports across the UK for the development and benefit of junior and senior players in all of indoor cricket, indoor netball, indoor soccer, and indoor hockey.

This will be achieved in association with Action Sports South Africa and Marketing Sport New Zealand, and will include Action Sports incoming and outgoing tours to all of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the UAE, and India.

The first tour is planned to be during August 2010 when Action Sports U19, Open Men's, and Over 30's Men's teams will compete against teams from Insportz in Dubai, before taking part in the Action Soccer Interprovincial Tournament in Roodepoort outside Johannesburg from 26 - 28 August 2010. The teams will finish the tour with a well earned holiday in Durban.

Details of the Action Soccer England soccer trials and budgeted costs for the IPT Tour will be published no later than 23 April 2010.
